Booking for a Ten-Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat in Italy

Single rooms can be reserved, if availability allows; in such case there will be an additional charge of € 10,00 a night. When accepted, you can make a money transfer of at least € 100,00 (you cannot have it back in case of disbooking) or the full amount, to "International Meditation Center Italia":

On arrival at the course the student will be asked to settle up, if needed, and to fill in a form asking for information of general character, the name and phone number of a person to contact in case of urgent need, and the declaration he/she is not suffering or has not suffered from mental pathologies. The cost of a ten-day retreat is quantified in € 50,00 a night, which includes board and lodging, and organization expenses, while the teaching, in accordance with the Tradition, is given free. At the end of the course, students can express their generosity and gratitude for the teachings received, by giving the teacher a free offering, according to their means. It is always advisable to bring a meditation cushion and a small carpet or blanket to put under the legs and anything else which may be useful for a sitting meditation, including a shawl that has proved to be very comfortable during the practice.
Modalities a student must follow to participate in a long retreat of Vipassana Meditation: the student must always arrive on the day of the beginning of the retreat between 5pm and 7pm. The student can not leave the retreat before the end, which is fixed at 9am of the last day appointed on the calendar. During the retreat, the use of mobile phones is not allowed except for emergency cases to agree with the directive staff. The student is invited to leave his/her relatives the phone number of the House where the retreat will take place for any urgent communication.
